Wild Idaho 50K Endurance Run

On Saturday August 4, 2012 Denise and I both successfully completed the 33.5 mile WIFKR (Wild Idaho Fifty K Endurance Run)! This is a nasty little course with some extremely steep sections (>20%) and a total elevation of about 8,000 feet!

Mountain Biking From Titikaka to Cusco!

We just returned from a great two weeks in Peru. The highlight was a 310 mile mountain bike ride from Lake Titikaka to Cusco including three passes over 15,000 feet! We also got a chance to visit Machu Pichu and the floating islands of Uros.

In the Winter months Garden Valley gets a reasonable amount of snow. We typically alternate between six to seven feet of snow and ten to eleven feet. Last year we had 14 feet and this year we have had 7 feet so far. We spend a lot of time moving it as you can tell!
